Cousin planning to go Sky bar @ mandarin oriental , after the be - early mother day celebration and be -early May's baby celebration ... since cousin going back and gonna miss the Mother Day celebration



located at the top floor of mandarin oriental hotel , surprisingly lil edward is able to enter , lol
but kinda crowded that day , din really get good seat to have a good view ... probably a nice place to hangout if u got money to spend =p ...

u can see view of KLCC here , and also KL Tower on the corner seat , but it is kinda indoor , so ... may b i may want to try luna bar better, din go before though ....



drink of the day to share with my sis : ) , since beer is like commonly available why not something different ? =p

name of the drink is chi chi , sorry , have no idea of cocktail yet , =p
some coconut cream and pineapple juice + some vodka , taste ... not bad , acceptable ?

After 20 years as malaysian , din go before batu cave , paiseh =p
so in conjunction of visiting around with my cousin , i followed~

Yes, went to connaught pasar malam right after the others week , this time with the cousin from US , lol .....

well .... dun really fancy to buy stuff from pasar malam ... so the main objective is still .... to hunt for FOOD~ weeee

so ...well ya , saw a few new food there , but still din get to try the pizza .... went back early coz family complaining hot =p

did i mention before there is cousin coming back from US for the past few weeks , just gone back to US today =p

oh , after so long , my uncle came back with his child .... a cute , talkative , HYPER active lil guy ....
almost spend many morning with him .... lol .... keep climbing here and there despite the limited space in the car .... and pretty much uncontrollable , but still adorable ? =p

well , to day walk though jusco remember got cheese still awaiting me at home ....
tot wanted to get a banquette  for it ... but then i saw US potato instead .... hmmmm

baked US potato with cheese is not bad ... then mum say got bacon summore ,

*in the mind : cheese + bacon + baked potato ... hmmm *

baked the potato - > wait till it cooked
put the cheese and bacon on top  and wait till it melt and turn brown ....
and there u have it ~ the end result~

Thursday~
went to kacau someone in the afternoon then back to home for dinner with family~

celebrating for mum bday , mum wanted korean meal , so sis went googling around and found the restaurant "kang san ea" @ ampang korean village, since it is near so we went~ not hard to find since the place is not tat big ( just that it have a lot of korean restaurants there )

the menu of the restaurant , some pic are blur so i din post ( ya even the entrance 1)




This is new to me , even the spoon is covered for hygiene : )

as u know, if u go for korean meal , most of the time will accompany with 4-8 plates of kim chi dish , lol , and so as this, never get to finish them once = p ....  * there are provided even if u din order them ? =p *

the casserole ~ ( vege with chicken in spicy soup ? ) , a lot of vege , one of the day i ate the most vege ( others than having salad and trip to korea ).

the bulgogi chicken with rice ... ( if i din recall wrong)
it come with this as well ( some kind of dough pan fried ? but taste not bad)

they serve rice in this bowl , lol , cute ? ( and it is those japanese / korea rice ~ weeee~ , ya expensive as well coz of those rice )

lastly is this beef bulgogi (the name is not this , then name in korean kinda hard to remember )
this 1 is nice~ i like it , especially the glass noodle below too *drool*
overall the food there is not bad, price may be a lil expensive, but the portion justify and so does the quality ( the RICE ~ )

after having the meal , decided to jalan jalan around the korea village, lol , there are korean supermarket (obviously selling korean stuff and food) , and there is a bakery ( which inside have compartment for the customer ... like each having a small room , nice for yam cha session ? lol )

then later on is movie with gilbert~
watched "The Loser" ..... well , the plot kinda remind me of some game/movie .... about 5 guy getting betrayed and seeking for revenge , even though it is an action movie ( there is action dun worry , lol ) , it is pretty funny too , main joker of the show , the guy with spec , lol
the sniper guy is cool too , hahaha , and a lil funny =p

Initially got different plan , but well , it changes into this at last , lol ....

been ages since i last went to connaught Pasar malam , i guess one of the longer pasar malam u can find in KL area ? lol

of coz when we said pasar malam we though of .... FOOOODDDDD~ ( ya sharon , it is food again :x)
always there is those new stuff of snack in pasar malam , i guess others than the cheap stuff selling there the food is another attraction ? lol


hmmm , even if i want to list , there is too many food ? lok lok , bread , pizza? , pancake?  takoyaki ? ice cream ? shave ice ? fried chicken ?  taiwan sausage ? gyoza ? sotong ?  and the list goes on~ .....

well, so what is new~~
well , at least for me , since i have not been there so long , lol



Exactly as u see , coconut + ice cream + some nut , there is another version of adding jelly in it
the portion is rather small , but ice cream with coconut is rather refreshing especially in the hot and stuffy pasar malam , hehehe , the portion is rather small i feel .....


There are one more new 1 too .... mook's pizza? but got many ppl queue , so lazy to buy, but if u really want to try , try finding another mook's pizza beside the main street of pasar malam , we just notice it while walking back using the alternative road, but too full to try already =p

oh we had .... siew yok in the afternoon too ... dad brought it .... erm ... u know the pudu siew yok .... melt in ur mouth meat texture + very crispy skin (adn it is dang expensive =p )
