Langkawi : Day Zero
Dropped to bus station earlier 1 hour from meeting time , aik , feel a lil insecure .....
sooo .... dun care, grab all own stuff , and camp at the seat while listening mp3 =p
PS: thx to everyone who reply my sms though , it does help keeping me accompany :)
.... Even waiting in bus kinda sien ..... sound is nt the problem ( coz i stuffed the IEM anyway )
but the bus always on the light when it stopped , hard to sleep like that :x
Overall the bus consider comfy la , dunno why doris say konsortium is banned though :x
Reach kuala kedah in the morning, i guess on time we expected anyway ...
Had breakfast around the jetty while waiting for the ferry ...... though it may overcharge us , since we are traveller , but well , the price is similiar to KL , so it is ok ? lol
After reaching , right after we exit the jetty, go find car to rent ..... ( saw duty free shop , irresistible to enter and have a look at the price .... wahhhh , cheap touuu .... ) .... anyway , we are approached by agent before we even try to ask the counter , lol .....
Recommended to get those ticket such as underwater world , cable car and others from the agent? since they can get it in cheaper price ( and able to refund too if not used , lol ) , anyway , nego a Gen 2 auto for rm180 actually , but end up with a new proton saga auto instead @@ .... may b some miscommunication between those bringing us there , anyway , it is nice too ( the air con is working greatly~ ) , but the pick up seem to have a lil problem , feel like the handbrake is still there , but it is freed @@
Anyway , still acceptable .... (nic got a waja 1.6 auto for the same price ~ , good for him =p )
went to the designated motel , but 3pm only check in .... so .... have a walk at the beach and other place first , lol ...

went to mahsuri museum after that , since still got time , lunch first @ outside the museum ~ , had cendol and laksa .... i dunno what laksa is that , din see before ... langkawi laksa (rm 3) ? ....
both taste nice (laksa should taste nice , but u know la , laksa = many vege & i dun like vege much =p )
the green thing for the cendol seem different from what we get in KL .... but taste nice too ....
however the price ... =.= ..... is same with the laksa (rm 3) .... so many be ABC is more worth it =p
anyway , combination of outdoor + hot weather in mahsuri museum just kinda suck, nt really big fans of mahsuri legend , so kinda feel uninterested better off going to beach i feel =p , but well if u really wish to go and have a look , have it ur way ? =p .... the ticket price if rm5 , but u may get cheaper from agent i guess , try to ask ? i din ask for it =p
then at last .... we can get our motel's room~ weee ..... nt next to beach, is kinda sad though , but at least we can park our car right infront of the room door .... lol .... (seem so lazy ... XD )
then according to hoey ching , there is pasar malam every night in langkawi , but the location is different everyday , so we asked the local where is it for tonight .... and end up it is somewhere they say .... i forget where , but it is near tanjung ryu , far far to the north ...... but headed to eagle square to see the "Eagle" first , hahaha , since it is land of Eagles right, how can we not go there ? =p

since it is sunset~ (woo beach sunset is just nice ) , we headed to tanjung ryu for sunset before going to pasar malam , hahahaha .....
on the way there , oh it is sunset soon , need to rush faster :x

the pasar malam is mostly malay's .... but well , kinda many food we din see before in KL ( or is it that i din go malay pasar malam much =p ) and the food is cheap ~~~~ (mostly made of flour though) ....

Then had a short beach walk at night after dinner ..... hmmm , still kinda hot , bt , the beach actually not bad , lol , and there is many ppl sitting down on beach , sitting in a group to chit chat and have a drink , wah , look bloody shiok , totally gonna try it next time .... and there is pyro performance there too .... @ a bar area next to the beach .... u only see two "surf" board sign on the outside , if u want to find the bar from the pantai cenang street .....
But the beach i think it is pretty crowded thought ....then back to room .... that is it for day 1~
Langkawi : Day Two
Wake early for breakfast , then heading straight to cable car , to avoid getting too sunny , and ruin our mood of coz ... XD
reach the cable car around 9.30am .... but need to queue already , swt .....
When u step one leg on 3 another at 4 ... u will get neither so ...
according to seng chuan, this is what we call " not 3 not 4 " *translate to cantonese*
the cable car is kinda .... steep all the way up .... lol .... unlike genting ... may b genting's kinda unstable land , so cannot make this steep ....
PS : tips from jin hao , skip the first stop, as there is nth much there , go straight to the top ....
@ the top , there are 2 observation stand ? tower? dunno what it call ... and sky bridge.... many will like that bridge i guess , nth really special about the location ... except the bridge look nice , sturdy , and shaky a bit (meant to be shaky) .... but others than that , there is nt much , nice view to pantai kok .... and i think it can get pretty hot as well , up there if there is sun .... or else it would be cooling :)

grabbed a bottle of beer and others few chocolate , then head to the seven well water fall ?
u climb around 400+ steps to see the well .... (actually not really well , it is 7 spot of water? =p ) nth much up there , unless u want to bbq? water playing location is further up .... , yes u can go further up if u want ...
i din see the water fall area though , but it is kinda dry , from what we observe via the cable car ....
then headed back to have pizza <3 ~
hoey cheng homework saying there is a nice pizza store , at pantai cenang named Artisan pizza , and yes , that is totally true~ (oh there is those delivery motor too if u feel like having it in ur room , since the place is open and pretty hot .... send the breakfast to ur door ? sound pretty good )

after a hot and stuffy and sweaty day .... headed back to room to have a bath + google for nice seafood restaurant XD , then another session of sunset~ this time pantai pasir hitam
as the name said , it is really black sand due to certain mineral fused with the sand
somehow it dun really look special but rather dirty , but well , just believe it is due to some mineral

wanted to go "Wonderland restaurant @ Kuah" but unlucky us , ngam ngam that day closed , so just randomly pick another restaurant which have many ppl XD , it is by the corner of the shop lot .... hmmm , taste not bad i think , nth really special here .... *and no lala that day, so unable to satisfy my lust for lala .... say island + seafood just keep reminding me of those awesome big huge lala @ pangkor .... unforgettable ? may b i shud go korea again one day to taste those Extra large lala)
while waiting grabbed a bottle of Medoc wine + some beer for after dinner consume XD ....
have a short walk @ beach again~ this time SC walking with his beer , lol , guess he mmg enjoying ...
back to room ... shared the wine with SC ... hahaha .... failed at opening the cork , it became dried ... but the wine still taste ok .... and had a good night sleep after tat .... last day dy~
Langkawi : Day Three
What is the must for last day ? of coz is shopping for duty free la XD but since planned to go taiping next , brought the ferry ticket earlier so we could catch up with the KTM train later .... after lunch , left only 1 hour to buy stuff , omg ....
fast fast survey price , and action dy .... dun think too much , buy first XD
then , after finish buying only head back to ferry .... argh .... long queue for kastam .... sien .... not sien of waiting , sien coz it is hot , stuffy + waiting ....
why dun they make some air con area for the kastam checking too :x
after reaching kuala perlis , took a taxi to ktm .... wah , the taxi din have air con , open window ... wind blow till face also get numb :x
then reach around ktm station, really really surpise to see the station =.= ....
need to wait few hour for the train , so had a lil meal beside the station , had nasi kerabu for the very first time , lol .... it go well with the vege and meat ( again i dun like to eat vege, so i cannot give u the specific on how it suppose to taste) .....
first impression : "OMG !!!! this is THE train station ?!"
yes , this really is the train station and that is all ....

and KTM just never fail to disappoint me sometime .... we are in a cabin .... the side where we seating no air con ( no air con for few hour lagi ) .... while the others end of the same cabin have air con ... but we dun feel it , omg , what is this~ , at least they fixed it at last .... and there is delay of 2 hour + due to technical problem too @@ .... after waited for so long in the mamak ... now continue to wait .... zzz ..... haih ... KTM ....
anyway , at least we made it safely to Taiping at midnight ....
Day Four (Extended) : Taiping
Sleep over at seng chuan house, while others in hoey cheng house.... got wifi ~
Anyway , wake early to have dim sum in places seng chuan recommended, a old looking shop , kinda similiar to Yut Kee @ Dang wangi , no free table, so seat with a old couple ... i am very surprise to how friendly they were and they can spot us from KL right away , lol ....
the dim sum there were not bad , kinda different from what we had in KL, but the ingredient is there ... and best of all .... it is cheap~ rm1.40 each ? even lou mai kai? *pic later*
go to bukit larut later .... kinda high ... will take hour to reach the top i guess .... but ....
we cheated, took the jeep up till mid point then only go to the top , since top got nth but radio tower, the breeze is so nice up there~ .... hahaha .... and yes we did reach top too (try to drink the water near the top .... VERY refreshing , my hygiene factor keep me from drinking too much though , but if u dare and dun mind , go ahead and drink more XD

Second round , go for cendol lagi , hahaha ... taste .... normal like cendol lor ? =p
then taiping lake .... gt many of those nice rain tree .... but really like they say , look so different when those photographer took the photo
Then to the seafood i waited for~ LALA here i come~ (yes , i still have that lala lust XD ) ...
after reaching .... omg dissapointed again , seafood stall din open on that day , so unlucky .....
so took seafood porridge opposite instead , (yes got lala too , hehehe)

look a lil like seafood soup here .....
but see, there is really fish and porridge =p
taste nice actually , if u can ignore the flies keep flying around trying to taste ur food .... seriously they should do something about it .... and the portion is huge , never expect that 3 pax = to our 5-6 pax
Then continue to have a short walk at taiping pasar malam near hoey cheng house, hahaha .... continue eating ... nth really special again ... they fried food is fry on demand instead of fried in KL ....
and yes , again everything look cheaper than KL's XD
went back to hoey cheng home to finish off the remain of dinner and loot from pasar malam XD
that all that night ..... at least get to online a bit at SC house , since got wifi , hahahaha
another morning is going to the food court , since most food is there..... but i think KL food court got more variety , hahahaha ..... anyway , was they to try taiping food .... * food and picture later*

but this is sweet sauce instead of the rojak sauce from penang chee cheogn fun.

then brought ticket and prepare to go back to KL ~
brought some "heong pan" back as souvenir, recommended by SC, freshly out from over summore, taste crispy , light , and just right sweetness ( wun have those sticky-ness sticking to ur teeth) ....
nice one SC , i love it <3
then take bus back to KL (on the way back hoey cheng dad give us more heong pan , faint ... but too much for my family , so give someone else :x
weee ~ at last back to KL ~ , i miss my .... home , PC , internet , etc etc etc XD
still wanted to go out more thought
